Nicholas Treadwell has been running art galleries since 1963. Starting with the very first mobile art gallery in the world, he progressed to more conventional physical sites in London and around the UK before relocating to Austria in 2005.

In the 1970s he coined the term 'superhumanism' and put on shows that were described as 'shocking'. The 'shock art' of the 1970s was described by some art critics as making the later work of the Young British Artists seem tame by comparison.

In this video, Philthy Phil delivers artwork to Nicholas at his latest gallery, Treadwell's Art Mill in Oslip, Austria and talks to him about his 61 years in the art business.
