Betty Yee, the former California controller, sat down with Annenberg Media Politics Editor Benjamin Gamson to outline her vision for California if elected governor in 2026. She discussed what she would do differently than current Governor Gavin Newsom and called on another candidate to drop out. Topics discussed included affordable housing, immigration, AI, and healthcare among others. The interview was conducted on October 16 in Studio C in the Annenberg Media Center.
