Redwood National and State Park’s official sister-park is Parque Nacional Alerce Costero, in southern Chile.

In April 2017, , four California tribal representatives and two Redwood park rangers made a visit to Chile to build strong cultural ties with our sister-park and Chilean native people called Mapuche.
