Welcome to my first video in a 2 part series for The SisterMisterhood of the Travelling ATCs!
This was an awesome collab put together by Heather Kraafter, Sylvia Tabor & Nanette Church who were our team leaders. We had 3 teams of 3 and set off to create some travelling ATCs! The 3 teams included people from all around the world! Those who took part (aside from myself and the team leaders above) were: Lucy (LucyOodleDoo), Mark (mwb_arts), Maria Meade, Aino-Mari & Wanda Hentges. The team leaders sent out textured pieces to the 2nd team members who then added colour and sent that off to team member #3 to finalize in any way they chose. My team included Nanette & Mark and started with a textured piece from Nanette. My job was to add colour which was much harder than I expected. I struggled for a while with how I was going to do that lol. I also ended up getting ahead of myself and adding some finishing touches that should have been left for the end. Once I finished my coloured piece, I created my first ever mail art envelope (link to that video below) and shipped it off to Mark to finalize! Once he was finished, he shipped it back to Nanette who cut it into ATCs and will be sending them out to all the participants. In the end, we’ll all have some amazing ATC creations! It was super fun to have them travel throughout everyone’s hands and homes on their journeys to completion. Such a fun experience!
Once I receive the final ATCs I might do a quick video unveiling/unboxing them!! Let me know if you’re interested in seeing that.
