Kody and Christine’s divorce announcement came as a shock to fans - but have you wondered what finally pushed Christine over the edge and got her to leave him?
Ever since Christine announced that she was leaving Kody, fans have been shocked and trying to come up with theories as to what was the final straw. A new preview indicates that maybe it was the lack of intimacy that finally drove Christine over the edge. Christine couldn’t stomach the relationship ever since Kody took intimacy off the table. By asserting they’d never be intimate again, Kody convinced Christine to leave. During the January 23rd episode, Chirstine revealed that "It's over. The intimate part of our marriage is over," she said. "And to be honest, I'm not okay with that. I'm not okay with staying in a marriage where there's no intimacy. That's not a real marriage. I'm not interested in a half marriage or a partial marriage or whatever we have." Like a lot of narcissistic people, Kody never expected Christine to actually leave him. After the decision was made for the two to no longer be intimate, Christine chose to pack up all of her belongings in their home. But Kody did not really take this seriously and did pretty much nothing to address this. He thought it was a game, and added at the end that “I almost don’t care.” To put it bluntly - He didn’t show any fear in losing her.
