Lead defense lawyer Sheila Sison says the prosecution is free to possibly cut the number of witnesses for the first article of impeachment on confidential funds and drop the third article on bribery to shorten proceedings, during the 21st day of Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment trial on Wednesday, September 2.
But Sison says she has not heard any confirmation on this but says she hopes the prosecution makes the proper manifestation if they were to do so.
