There are fourteen 8,000 meters peaks in the world. Five of them are in Pakistan, eight in Nepal, and one in China. In the sports of mountaineering, summiting these 14 peaks is considered as the biggest achievement. Unfortunately, despite having great mountaineers in Pakistan, due to lack of resources, no one has been able to get this honor yet. Pakistan's legendary mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara had a dream to scale all fourteen peaks for Pakistan. After many years of hard work, Muhammad Ali Sadpara was able to climb eight peaks.
In order to carry on this mission, now the Pakistani nation is looking at Sirbaz Khan.
Sirbaz Khan is one of the top mountaineers of Pakistan. He is on the mission to complete fourteen 8000er peaks in the world. So far he has climbed five of them: K2 (8,611m), Nanga Parbat (8,126m), and Broadpeak (8,051m) in Pakistan, and Lhotse (8,516 m) and Manaslu (8,156) in Nepal.
He wants to summit Annapurna (8,091 m) in Nepal next. He will be the first Pakistani to climb this mountain.
Sirbaz shared this 14 8000er dream with Ali Sadpara with whom he climbed four 8000er peaks.
