Sir Michael Palin is recognised at the RTS Programme Awards 2026 for his stellar career now in its seventh decade as a comic performer, writer, actor and an acclaimed presenter.

He was a founding member of legendary comedy group Monty Python and has presented beloved travelogue series like Around the World in 80 Days. In 2016, he is acting on television again with a touching performance in Small Prophets.
