While strike action over the Christmas and New Year period is regrettable, responsibility for this lies squarely with Caredoc management. The best way to ensure there is no impact on the general public is for Caredoc to pay our members the increases due under the WRC Agreement.
We call on Caredoc and the HSE, as the funding agency, to sit down and agree the necessary measures to resolve this long-outstanding pay claim. SIPTU members remain available for meaningful negotiations and is engaging with management on contingency planning.
