Marie was the daughter of Frank and Cath in 1933. Marie grew up as an only child but was always very close to family.
In 1935 the family moved from Germany to Belgium. Which is where they found there forever home, not knowing it would be the house that Marie would inherit and spend her life in.
Frank and Cath decided to home school Marie. She was very excluded from the outside world. However when Marie turned 14 in the year of 1947 she decided to venture out every morning to volunteer on a neighbours farm. This is where she met Jules. Not knowing that they would get married in 1954 at the age of 21.
After they got married Marie and Jules travelled parts of the world. When they returned home they were told the sad news that Marie's Mum Cath was rushed into hospital and had sadly passed away. In between working Marie and Jules became Franks carer. After the passing of his wife his health deteriorated very quickly and passed away 3 years later in the home.
Probate records show that Marie Inherited the house, which is where her and her husband lived. In 1996 Jules passed away from the horrible disease cancer. He had a wish that he would spend his final days at home with Marie by his side. His wish was granted and Marie did everything she could to make those few days comfortable for him.
In 2003 Marie passed away of natural causes in her sleep at the age of 70.
