When the fig tree fails… can we still rejoice? In this conclusion to our Habakkuk Bible study, we walk through Habakkuk 3—from the prophet’s trembling lament to his fierce declaration of trust: “Yet I will rejoice.” We unpack the song’s storm-god imagery, the Old Testament context (Teman, Paran, Baal/Marduk echoes), and why reading Hebrew poetry across multiple translations sharpens biblical interpretation. Whether you’re leading a small group or studying solo, this session ties the whole book together: waiting on God’s justice, learning stillness, and practicing Christian discipleship when circumstances don’t change… but our view of God does.

You’ll also hear practical ideas for small-group use, plus a heads-up on other Dojo courses (how to read Scripture, science & faith, Christian sexual ethics, and Revelation). This is accessible, theology-rich Christian education designed to help you grow as a thoughtful follower of Jesus.
