I had the immense privilege to hear & meet the amazing Crossroads barbershop quartet after their final concert yesterday in Nantes, and most of all to hang out with them after the show! And what a show it was! Here's my first ever tag with a REAL barbershop group!
Crossroads won the International barbershop competition in 2009, they are absolutely amazing! And really down-to-earth & friendly folks on top of that. True champions in all the right ways.
You'll also recognize JB who was at the concert too.

We shot this video without ever meeting in person: I (Trudbol) live in Paris (France) and Kartiv2 is in Tel Aviv (Israel). If you look closely, youll realize Im the only one really in Paris. ;-)
The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a prestigious avenue in Paris, France. With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous streets in the world, and remains the second most expensive strip of real estate in Europe, having recently (as of 2010) been overtaken by Londons Bond Street. The name is French for Elysian Fields, the place of the blessed dead in Greek mythology. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is referred to as The most beautiful avenue of the world, La plus belle avenue du monde in French. (Not my opinion, but hey...)
Joseph Ira Dassin, more commonly known as Joe Dassin, was an American singer-songwriter best known for his French songs of the 1960s and 1970s. Les Champs-Elysées was released in 1969 and is one of his most well-known French songs throughout the world. By the early 1970s, Dassins songs were on the top of the charts in France. He was also a talented polyglot, recording songs in German, Russian, Spanish, Italian and Greek, as well as French and English.
Les Champs-Elysées is an (almost direct) French adaptation of Waterloo Road, written by the British psychedelic group Jason Crest. The song was also sung in French by the popular California punk band NOFX.

(chorus x2)
ENGLISH LYRICS (TRANSLATED):
I strolled on the avenue, my heart open to the unknown,
I felt like saying hello to anyone
No matter who and it was you, I said whatever crossed my mind
Speaking to you was enough, to bring you out of your shell.
On the Champs-Élysées, on the Champs-Élysées
In the sun, in the rain, at midday or at midnight
Everything you want is on the Champs-Élysées
You told me, Im meeting some lunatics in a basement
Who live with a guitar in hand, from evening to morning
So I went with you, we sang, we danced,
And we didnt even think of kissing each other
(chorus)
Last night [we were] two strangers, and this morning on the avenue
[Were] Two lovers utterly dazed by the long night
And from the Étoile to the Concorde, an orchestra of a thousand strings,
All the birds at daybreak sing of love
