Hymns of Grace exists to assist believers in their corporate and private worship of God. It is our mission to provide a hymnal and other resources that focus on God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit as revealed in the Word of God. We seek to produce musical material that focuses on God, His Word and the Gospel story, melding beautiful melodies with eternal truth.
Lyrics:
1. Sing we now of Christmas, Noel, sing we here!
Hear our grateful praises to the Babe so dear.
Refrain:
Sing we Noel, the King is born, Noel!
Sing we now of Christmas, sing we now Noel!
2. Angels called to shepherds, “Leave your flocks at rest;
Journey forth to Bethl’hem, find the Lambkin blest.”
3. In the stall they found Him; Joseph and Mary mild
Seated ’round the manger, watching the holy Child.
4. From the eastern country came the kings afar,
Bearing gifts to Bethl’hem, guided by a star.
5. Gold and myrrh they took there, gifts of greatest price;
There was ne’er a stable so like paradise.
Words and Music: Traditional French Carol

The Love of God (Hymn 91) – Hymnology Season 6
Season 6 of Hymnology begins with one of the most beloved hymns ever written: The Love of God.
Penned by Frederick M. Lehman in 1917, this hymn captures the greatness of God’s love in simple yet powerful words. With imagery that lifts our eyes from earth to eternity, it reminds us that even if the skies were parchment, the oceans ink, and every man a scribe, the love of God could never be fully written. His love is beyond measure, unchanging, and everlasting.
Lyrics:
1.The love of God is greater far
than tongue or pen can ever tell;
it goes beyond the highest star,
and reaches to the lowest hell;
the guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
and pardoned from his sin.
Refrain:
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure:
the saints’ and angels’ song!
2. When years of time shall pass away
and earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
when men who here refuse to pray,
on rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so pure shall still endure,
all measureless and strong;
redeeming grace to Adam’s race—
the saints’ and angels’ song.
[Refrain]
3. Could we with ink the ocean fill
and were the skies of parchment made,
were ev’ry stalk on earth a quill
and ev’ry man a scribe by trade,
to write the love of God above
would drain the ocean dry;
nor could the scroll contain the whole,
tho’ stretched from sky to sky.
