Signs and plaques make great beginner projects, because you get to make all sorts of designs using really basic elements. Here are two projects I made for my friends.

I originally wasn't going to add a commentary track to this video, but I learned so many little things (like cheap wood sucks) that I figured it might actually be something sharable.
