Welcome Everyone to SIMPLE, FUN, & EASY: A Step-by-Step Acrylic Pouring Fluid Art Course where I will take you through everything I use and do to create Fluid Art. In Part 2 we will discuss color theory, revisit how to mix a pouring medium, and also mix and measure your paints. Then I will show you how to layer a cup for acrylic pouring and then I will teach you two more pouring styles. I am so excited to share this with all of you.
Fluid Art is a fantastic way to unleash your creativity and produce stunning abstract paintings. It’s also incredibly satisfying and relaxing. Watch the video and follow along as I guide you through these exciting techniques.
In this tutorial, I use a two beautiful color palette using Liquitex. The Straight Pour color pallet is primary red, quinacridone magenta, dioxazine purple, light blue violet, and primary blue. The color pallet for the Freestyle Pour is cadmium yellow deep hue, primary yellow, brilliant yellow green, phthalo green, and turquoise. These colors create a dynamic effect on the canvas. Feel free to use your favorite colors, but I recommend incorporating some pearlized or metallic paints for added shine and contrast.
