5x15 is delighted to announce a new collaboration with English Heritage, and a very special celebration of the London blue plaques scheme. A familiar sight across the capital, these much-loved blue roundels highlight the links between people and place, commemorating notable figures from the past and the buildings in which they lived or worked.
The London blue plaques scheme was started in 1866 and is thought to be the oldest of its kind in the world. Run by English Heritage, there are now 1,000 plaques right across the capital, on buildings humble and grand, honouring the significant women and men who have lived or worked in them.
