With Wwise 2025.1, we introduced Similar Sound Search, an audio-to-audio and text-to-audio search functionality specifically designed for sound effects.

In this demo, we have some fun with the text-to-audio retrieval technique. Watch as we test the Similar Sound Search's ability to interpret abstract descriptors - such as "shiny," "brassy," and "transcendent" - and observe how it surfaces relevant results from your audio content based on their sonic characteristics.

Wwise 2025.1 is live and available to install from the Audiokinetic Launcher. Try these new features out for yourself and let us know what you think!
