Notes: At Approximately 2 PM Simi Valley PD was in Pursuit of a white Pick Up Truck, The Driver was reportedly actively firing shots from the vehicle before he was struck by gunfire. Multiple witnesses say he intentionally struck the motor officer’s bike with his truck before the OIS.
We interviewed the man whose house and trailer was crashed into and another neighbor who witnessed the whole incident. We also have Ring video of the suspect being pursued by the motor officer in the neighborhood.
Neighbors identified the suspect as a young adult who also lives in the neighborhood.
