Hey everyone. I managed to find my YouTube password again 😇
After an ongoing family emergency I am finally back with a small but potent tutorial about... of course Octane and a new node, that was introduced in Octane 2026.1 - The Distorted UVW Node.
Long time viewers remember the Octane_OSL_Triplanar_Rnd_UVs OSL script that I did to randomize textures on duplicated objects / instances.
With the Distorted UVW node Otoy finally has created a built in solution to tackle this task. In this tutorial On C4D as well as in Blender I will show you the best practices to use it.
