In this episode, we spent the hour revisiting works in progress and turning leftover materials into finished designs. I worked on a pair of seed bead tube earrings that had been sitting on my table for quite a while, walking through the exact formula for the peyote tube. We covered the bead count in detail, including thirty size 11 seed beads per round and fourteen rows of stitched peyote, using a mix of random colors from the Out of This World seed bead palette. I also demonstrated how to zipper the peyote tube closed directly over Pearlesque chain to create a clean, finished look.
Danielle worked on a bead soup bracelet using beads left over from the Out of This World bead box along with the coordinating SilverSilk bundle. She brought the design together effortlessly and finished it with a toggle clasp, creating a bracelet that felt both intentional and easy to wear. It was a great example of how leftover beads can turn into a polished, cohesive piece with just a little planning.
