Today it is the Shafter Subdivision of the Union Pacific, and in this program you will enjoy seeing trains running from the Great Salt Lake in Utah, west to Winnemucca, Nevada.
Along the way trains pass through the salt flats east of Wendover, then climb over Silver Zone Pass including the famous Arnold Loop. Then the railroad continues west, passing the ghost town of Shafter, passing through Hogan Tunnel, and snaking though beautiful Palisade Canyon.
