English Heritage | Silver Lining: An Exhibition by Dion Kitson @EnglishHeritage | Uploaded 5 months ago | Updated 1 hour ago
From 11 May – 6 September 2024, we are excited to bring a new exhibition by contemporary artist Dion Kitson to the JW Evans Silver Factory in Birmingham.

Dion Kitson is an artist from the West Midlands. His works explore working-class identity, global politics, and popular culture using wordplay, print, performance, film, mixed media and photography.

In his new exhibition Silver Lining at the JW Evans Silver Factory, Kitson honours a lost industrial past, utilising new technologies to create sculptural interventions, celebrating the history and popular culture of Birmingham and the Black Country.

This exhibition coincides with the artist’s solo show, Rue Britannia, @IkonGallery to mark its 60th anniversary.
