Silver has surged back toward $65–$66, and Peter Krauth says the odds are increasingly favorable that a new upward cycle has begun. Krauth warns that the U.S. faces enormous Treasury refinancing needs and rising borrowing costs, potentially forcing policymakers toward yield-curve control and financial repression. He believes inflation could begin accelerating again over the next six months, potentially creating another major inflationary wave similar to the 1970s. With today's debt levels leaving policymakers far less room to aggressively raise rates, Krauth argues that a future monetary reset could ultimately strengthen the case for precious metals.
