Silk Sonic were one of the major forces at the 2022 Grammys. After opening the show with a funky performance of "777," the duo won the first Grammy Award of the telecast, winning the Grammy for Song Of The Year for their international chart-topper "Leave The Door Open." Silk Sonic would go on to sweep the 2022 Grammys: They won all four Grammys for which they were nominated that night, including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Performance, all for "Leave The Door Open."
