Today I'm looking at one of the most common question I see anywhere: Does silicone really not stick to acrylic? Which kind should I get to make a baffle or sump?
I applied ten different silicones to a test sheet (a few days after removing the protective cover to let micro-scratches build up) and see how they hold up to being pulled at and gouged.
The end result? Three which will almost certainly work for anything you're doing, one which is good enough, and a whole bunch of garbage from GE that doesn't work AT ALL.
