I Made a design of the most practical and simple mold for creating Tea-light candles β it requires a minimum of silicone (190 ml/6.5 oz) and only 35 grams of PLA to print the formwork!
My designs are not only modeled but also tested in real life β I am experimenting with the optimal sizes and shapes for printing and pouring.
You can make your own silicone mold by printing the master model and frame on your 3D printer using PLA.
Dimensions:
Diameter β 55mm
Height β 25mm
Walls β 4 mm
Volume β 30 ml (7 hours of soy wax burning)
Silicone required β 190 ml (6.5 oz)
PLA plastic for formwork β 35 g
