Tails of Saturn | Silhouette Mirage English Translation Sega Xtreme 29th Saturn Homebrew Competition (2024) @TailsOfSaturn | Uploaded November 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Silhouette Mirage English Translation
This is an English translation of Silhouette Mirage, Rasputin3000's entry to this years Sega Xtreme Saturn Homebrew competition.
Recorded from real hardware. Burned to a CD-R and run by using a Pseudo Saturn Cart. Output via an RGB SCART cable, line doubled in an OSSC and recorded with a USB capture device.
The patch is well done and looks like an official English release. Its based on the PS1 working designs English translation. The game was already largely accessible to western audiences, but understanding the story does make it much more appealing. The core draw here is obviously the fun game mechanics. The shop being in English does help, and since the game is quite story heavy, an English speakers experience will be much better if you play this translated version of the game.
Note: I had to use the newer version o9f the Sega Saturn Pat6cher to make this work. The old patcher resulted in a disc image larger than a CD. The new patcher can be found in J.B. Harold: Blue Chicago Blues - English Patch (Same link as below)
