1:33:01 RTA. This is likely the world's first recorded evidence of a deathless/glitchless/single segment SH3 PS2 version Extreme X run, and if it's not the first, it's certainly the fastest.
Mostly clean; the big blemish is an embarrassing Missionary fight, but sometimes he be like that, and some of those bullet blocks were pretty BS (41:50). Had a worm cycle break but recovered, Leonard was clean, Alessa pipe fight took extra time but was definitely worth it to save shotgun shells for the last phase.
The God fight had a massive misstep early on (1:30:40) - I was worried about being so far back she might throw out the flame attack, and trying to reset my position led to that knockdown (if I just kept attacking it should have been fine). The knockdown only cost 1-2 hits so it wasn't a disaster, but I used my final health item right before the fight ended, so I only had an extra 2-3 hits and maybe one shotgun blast left before imminent death.
Building world slurper hallways were fine, one knockdown (plus a nibble) I almost avoided (36:16). Final hospital hallway was *super* clean somehow (58:29), incredibly lucky. I lost my walk pattern in the second half of the red fog hallway in the haunted mansion (1:09:47) - Heather made some sounds but my health was still blue after the hallway, but I definitely shat my pants. The room with a big group of closers at 1:24:48 killed my last run so I was already super on edge for that room again, and I don't know how that big boofy hitbox didn't make contact.
My best time in other runs was a 54:03 (two deaths) and there are tons of suboptimal strats at play here, but this run is an absolute nightmare - Dualshock 2 D-pad control is miserable, the load times are super long, low resolution, etc. so I just wanted to knock this out while I had the idea fresh in my head.
