This is a comparison between Silent Hill 2 Remake and the Original version of Silent Hill 2. The footage for the Original version was captured on PC using the PC version of the game with the Enhanced Edition mod installed, captured in true 4k resolution. I've noticed many on YouTube were in a hurry to upload their comparisons, but they were using inferior PS3/360 version or unmodded PC version. This would not be a fair comparison, since these version of Silent Hill 2 are objectively inferior version of the original SH2. I've decided to use modded PC version for this comparison for best resolution and quality. Silent Hill 2 was originally released in 2001. The remake is currently scheduled for the release on October 2024.
