Now accompanied by the mysterious Maria, James finds himself in the western part of South Vale. Just as before, the town is bereft of life, save for the monsters roaming the streets. He decides to follow Nathan Ave. towards Paleville in an effort to reach the Lake View Hotel. When the boat launch is closed and the road is found destroyed, however, James must seek an alternate route. Strangely enough, this finds him in an old bowling alley; with a couple of familiar faces.

All gameplay was captured from a North American (Black label, SLUS 20228, Ver. 1.20) copy of the game running on a PlayStation 2 model SCPH-39001 using a component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 2160p using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.
