So this is a bit of passion Project of mine. as you all know the Silent Hill HD collection are some of the most broken ports in history. However they did come with "Good Professional" Voice Acting featuring Mary Elizabeth MCglynn Troy Baker and more.
I was inspired by the great folks over at Silent Hill Enhanced edition to do this. The HD Voices have never ever ever been ported to PC due to the nature of the format used, which is XMA and ATRAC. so I took a crack on getting these working in the Pc Version of silent Hill 2 along with Silent Hill 2 Enhanced fixes.
This is Nowhere near ready for release. There are alot of bugs and bad sound mixing that have to be fixed. Sound files need to be chopped up because for some reason the person in charge of putting in the new voices left 14 hours of silence in some of these audio files. Yes you heard me right 14 hours.And it results in alot of issues. I've actually had the Cri Tools I use crash on me as well as the game. Two lines also appear to be empty as well for some reason.
