Sig figs in complicated, multi-step calculations require you to follow the order of operations with sig fig rules. I'll be using the Henderson-Hasselbalch Equation as an example, which is used to determine the pH of buffer solutions in chemistry. It is a notoriously difficult equation for sig figs!
