A slow ride-by tour of Adjame, a bustling district in northwest Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) in west Africa. It's packed with merchants, buses, motorbikes, produce, cheap knockoffs, and just about anything else. The prime bus station for long-distance buses is in this neighborhood, and it only adds to the overall chaos. Downtown Abidjan is very modern and cosmopolitan, with lots of skyscrapers and other new construction, but there are still neighborhoods like these that highlight that some things haven't changed for many people.
