Hello, everyone and welcome back to Train Talk! To celebrate 10 years of the Train Talk series, we are finally going to be discussing the Siemens Charger locomotive series, which also just so happens to be celebrating its 10 year anniversary this spring! We'll take a look at the history of these locomotives as well as all the different model variants that have been produced over the last 10 years.
A special thanks to @Michaellovestrains for providing images of the VIA SCV-42 and Amtrak ALC-42E used in this video and to Siemens Mobility for footage of the SC42-DM in testing as well as behind the scenes access to their factory in Sacramento, CA.
