Siem Reap Walking Tour Wat Bo District | Cafes, Bars & Local Life
Come with me on a real Siem Reap Cambodia walking tour around the Wat Bo area, one of my favourite parts of the city.
I start at Wat Bo and walk towards Bio Cafe before turning left and stopping at UFO Cambodia, where I bought my DJI Pocket 3.
Crossing the road, I pass IPS Cambodia, which is where I arranged my first apartment here. If you’re looking to rent in Siem Reap, they’re a solid option.
Continuing on, you’ll see ABA Bank at the end of the road, then onto Street 26 where you’ll find Tevy’s Place.
Next up is Bookish and Laundry Bar, followed by the Red Van Bar (local Khmer-run spot).
I head down Street 27, walking past The Two Brothers and onto The Muffin Man… before realising I’ve completely missed the little coffee shop I wanted to show you.
So I turn around and head back to Sbov Cafe, just opposite The Two Brothers, and stop for a coffee.
From there, I walk towards the river, turn left in the direction of Hard Rock Cafe Siem Reap, and explain how the roundabout connects you to the Old Market Siem Reap area.
You’ll also see street food stalls nearby, including Ali Baba Food Stall and even the famous fried bug stalls.
I finish the walk at Harry’s Bar, where you can get a proper Sunday roast. Fun fact, it shares the same name as my eldest grandson.
This is a simple, real-time walk to help you get your bearings in Siem Reap, especially if you’re staying around Wat Bo.
