Biblical sexual ethics doesn't merely condemn sinful sexual behavior. Scripture also calls sinful desires themselves sinful and commands us to put them to death.

That's why Side B cannot claim orthodoxy merely because it prohibits same-sex sexual behavior. Identifying with sinful desires, treating those desires as morally neutral, or legitimizing romantic same-sex relationships simply because they're celibate falls short of biblical sexuality.

Jesus doesn't call us to make peace with sinful desires. He calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him.
