Some jasper lore
So here’s like some info about like Jasper‘s relationship this isn’t like his like Laura like his childhood because his childhood is like a whole different separate thing, but this is like his relationship with Jenny who is his girlfriend at the beginning of the story she is let’s put it lately or get I don’t know not put it lightly but she’s abusive she’s manipulative. she likes to use things she’s done for him and put it over his head so like for example she got Jasper a job at the most shittiest restaurant ever but for him it was like a lifesaver so but now she uses that over his head whenever they get into an argument, she refuses to let him speak his side whenever she always has to be right, and if he isn’t into anything she’d play like the victim like she’d be like oh you don’t love me anymore or you don’t appreciate me anymore. not only there’s a power dynamic between them as well because she met Jasper when he was 17 and she was 20 something so there is grooming, which is why I refuse to like draw her as like a person because she is not a person she’s a monster she doesn’t deserve to have like a face even though she’s prominent in the story and is the reason why Jasper is like it’s just like in the story she’s in the story. She really doesn’t see Jasper as a partner. I guess more like she just sees him as something she could use and dispose when she feels like it because she knows his past with abuse and sexual abuse and she knows that he’s too afraid to speak up for himself because of it, even though he may have a cocky attitude and all he freezes up and he feels helpless.

Jasper on the other hand is kind of like on the fence because of like how Society. I don’t know how to like put it but they like praise young boys for sleeping with older women and not only that but before he got into a relationship with her he already had a fucked up life so he was also just looking for someone to help him and she did. She helped him and Now she like uses this shit against him whenever they get into an argument . And to show how he feels when he’s in these moments and like his emotion and like the way, it impact him.
this isn’t for like shock value or anything. This is like to raise like some kind of awareness, as well as like to show people that abuse doesn’t really have a gender anyone can be abused. There is going to be a part two to this video with Sean, I wanted to show because Sean was also abused by his babysitter and also goes by like the same thing where it’s another story basically . 
But yeah, her role in the story is kind of like an anchor. She holds Jasper down from becoming a better person because she herself doesn’t wanna change as well even though she should be put in jail I don’t know she should be put in jail she shouldn’t be able to change Should be put in jail, but she is like an anchor. She like manipulates Jasper and keeps him there like in this cage . I will go into detail about like Jasper life before he met the band and met his girlfriend because it is a key way to how he is and why he thinks like this type of abuse is normal not only because of like the way society, instructed, but like also the way he was raised in the way he came to like think these things were normal until he met Sean and Sean was “like getting bitch. this is not normal.”

I don’t know if there are like any more songs where it’s a guy speaking up about this type of things I know cannibal by tally hall and I think love me dead is like also a song about abuse from a woman as well, but I have to check me on that.

Also, this thing comes from a place of knowledge as someone who is experienced this as well growing up being sa by women as well so this is also coming from experience. I’d like to put myself into or what I’ve been through in my work so yeah.
