Siam Paragon brings samurai and ninja heritage to Bangkok

Siam Paragon is bringing Japan’s warrior heritage to Bangkok with The Wondrous Japan Heritage 2026, a cultural showcase celebrating the enduring ties between Thailand and Japan from August 20–30.

Samurai swordsmanship and ninja martial arts take centre stage, with performances by Tokyo-based SHIDENRYU TOKYO and cultural experiences exploring the honour, discipline and traditions of Japan’s legendary warriors.

Another highlight is A Living Legacy of Time, featuring seven masterwork bonsai and a rare centrepiece more than 500 years old — a living expression of Japanese artistry, nature and the passage of time.

Visitors can also get hands-on with Japanese culture through the Experience Japanese Craft workshops, including origami, Maneki Neko figurine-making and the strategy board game Samurai by Reiner Knizia, offering a mix of traditional artistry, creativity and play.
