This went fast and I was very happy with that. Absolutely love using Rock Solid as a parry mechanic, it's so damn satisfying. I really wanted to cancel out the Black Wind King boss's mist flying and aoe phases, so that was a goal achieved! I'm having so much fun in NG+3. Even though bosses can one shot, the power fantasy is real!
The build I'm using here is nothing special and definitely not min/maxed or tailored to this fight:
- Yaksha set for the Outrage perk
- Snake Sherif spirit for extra attack
- Curios for crit chance
- Brews for extra crit chance, extra attack, and for longer lasting immobilization (not sure this last bit helps at all tbh)
- Jingubang staff to maintain 4 focus points.
So mainly aiming for crit and damage maximizing, but even then, doing what I do here is more about the timing and correct chaining of things.
