PA state Rep. Melissa Shusterman put forth legislation that gives veterans the proper resources they deserve to address their trauma. Her bill would establish additional training for county directors of Veterans Affairs to include trauma-informed care, military sexual trauma (MST), PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and other trauma-informed care. Shusterman says it is important to support our veterans and making sure staff at VA centers have all the tools they need is one way to show support. More at pahouse.com/Shusterman
