► Business Email: thetrainerclub@viralcollab.com The MLB x Pokémon GO White Sox collaboration game was one of the most anticipated crossover events in the Pokémon GO calendar, bringing trainers and baseball fans together for exclusive catches, event bonuses, and unique in-stadium gameplay. However, nature had other plans. A torrential downpour in Chicago forced the cancellation of the game, leaving many players disappointed as the highly hyped collab was cut short.
Even with the weather turning the event upside down, the Pokémon GO spirit was alive. Trainers gathered around, still determined to make the most of the day. From exclusive catch cards to shiny hunts, the event still provided some memorable moments. While the rain soaked through Liberty Plaza and the stadium areas, the Pokémon GO gameplay continued, proving once again the dedication of this community.
Despite the cancellation, my journey through the event had an unforgettable finale: I managed to catch a Shundo Pokémon right before the event wrapped up. A Shundo—short for shiny 100% IV Pokémon—is one of the rarest finds in the entire game, and having one appear after such a chaotic and rain-soaked event was a storybook ending.
