Don't know what to do with leftover chicken sometimes?? Look no further, because Joanne and I have come up with two different recipes, that'll tickle your taste buds! The inspiration for my dish comes from Peking duck on steamed buns(pancakes), except in my recipe, I use left over slow roasted chicken!
Head over to Joanne's channel to check out some awesome recipes! She's an evil genius in the kitchen!

Recipe with written instructions here:
eatnowcrylater.blogspot.com/2013/04/roasted-chicken-on-steamed-buns-whoisen.html
For the chicken you will need:
left over slow roasted chicken, shredded
salt, sugar, black pepper, onion powder and fish sauce to taste
chopped garlic
olive oil
For the fried ginger:
ginger, sliced julienne
salt, sugar, black pepper, and fish sauce to taste
olive oil
For the hoisen sauce:
Koon Chun hoisen sauce
splash of sesame oil
brown sugar to taste
You will also need:
plain, steamed buns(I buy them frozen and then re-steam them)
*quick tip: slice them(like a hamburger bun but not completely through), BEFORE you re-steam them
*you may also make the buns from scratch, but I'm like #aintnobodygottimefodat
For garnish:
green onions(white parts only), sliced julienne
To assemble: Put some hoisen sauce on your warm, steamed buns. Then, add some of your chicken, followed by some fried ginger. Finally, top it off with some fresh scallions! Yum!!
I know you guys will love this one! Since everything is pretty much pre-made already, I figured it's safer to take the "taste-as-you-go-along", method.
Enjoy!
xoxo
