Now what better way is there to kick off 2017 than with a world record door? A double world record door of course! This amazing 5x5 trapdoor has a volume of a mere 660 blocks, and on top of that, it's also super fast with an opening time of only 1.85 seconds!

NOTE: I updated the opening time in the title. Since this video was uploaded, the way we measure door speeds has seen a slight change, which increases times by 0.15s.

I got together with MDP_ from the Synergy server and we joined forces to make this incredibly small incredibly fast 4x4 door. Its just 264 blocks in volume, but still very fast with an opening speed of 0.75s. Im not sure if it can get any smaller while still preserving the nice animation...

Hey all! A quick video today, showing a 3x3 hipster I made a while back. It beats the previous fastest by over a second, coming at a 2.15s opening and a 0.5s closing! Im pretty sure faster is still possible, though. I might give it a try in the future. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this little video :]
Note: 1.13 has lots of bugs regarding observers and pistons. This door does work in 1.13.1!
