Today I switch it up and discuss the popular concept within writing and the phrase you have likely heard if you've done any form of creative writing, "Show, Not Tell". I dive in to the reason why such a saying exist and why it's heavily misunderstood, while giving an example from the animated film "Liz and the Blue Bird" that understands it well and is a great example of when and where you can cut dialogue and keep a significant meaning.
