We got our hands on both the BMW R1300R and the R1300RS and put them
through their paces on real roads, freeways, twisties, commutes and
everything in between. Two bikes. Two riders. One honest verdict.

The R1300R ran with BMW's ASA (Automatic Shift Assist), while the R1300RS
came with a traditional gearbox and quick shifter, so this isn't just
a spec sheet comparison, it's a genuine back-to-back real world test.

We cover:

Both bikes are seriously impressive and share a lot of the same DNA,
but they do have some clear differences once you spend real time on them.
