Seat reservations are optional for the Luzern-Interlaken Express. It doesn't sell out as most seats are first come, first served.

But if you want to make sure you have the best window view, reserve well in advance to grab one of the few seats that can be reserved.

Can't reserve the seat you want? Don't worry. Just show up to the train station early and be the first on the train to get the best seats in the non-reservable coaches.
