I was just wondering who’s civic responsibility and duties it is to inform the tourist of Las Vegas about the Trump ICE Protest tonight June Friday the 13th 2025.
Apparently nobody is telling Fremont Street tourists that just last night it was full of protestors against Trump’s horrific ICE policies. I’m assuming that’s because tourism is down in Vegas as a whole, and they don’t want panic they few people they have.
Only 2 guys were willing to talk on camera, but I had a microphone issue. Which is crazy Friday the 13th luck because you can hear it working perfectly every other time I recorded today.
Las Vegas City Hall is just a few block away from these unexpected tourists escaping the reality of what they left back home and easily can avoid all the breaking news nationwide about NO KINGS DAY protests. Which will be all Summer long.
We are asking the question of responsibility here? We want tourism to thrive and be alive, but not keeping them informed of protestors gathering in a popular Vegas hot spot seems borderline careless. The protests have been peaceful, but far right agitators keep showing up around the country and Las Vegas has already seen some.
