Hey friends, I've got the next video uploaded as part of my series on building the UP St. Marshall Sub in HO scale.
In this video, I explain why I chose to use white styrofoam for my scenery base, and how I cut and shaped the foam in preparation of adding landscape materials.
The St. Marshall Sub is my proto-freelanced representation of PTC-era UP mainline somewhere in the midwest. It is 5 1/2 x 15 feet, currently in the basement of my old farm house. I recorded all the steps I used to build the layout, and I'm slowly getting all the clips edited for your enjoyment!
