A close friend came to David Butler and said,
“Should I take my name off the records of the Church?”

And instead of freaking out, he just said,
“Will you do me a favor? Don’t. Not yet. Just start over. Ask yourself—who is God?”

A little while later, she had her first baby.
She came back and said,
“I believe in God.”

That experience—of creating life—did something disbelief never could.

Sometimes all it takes is a little space, a real moment, and a fresh look at who God actually is.
