Now, I’ll admit, I never saw this exact waterfall. It’s a scene composed from many different areas in the Kimberley. I was working to a brief: Create a unique waterfall with that “secret cascades” vibe, and hide some critters in there!

This project was completed over several months. Painting the jagged sedimentary deposits was super challenging, to get the perspective and the lighting just so. Looking back, I like some aspects of this piece, but I think I need to revisit it. Not sure… what do you think?
